Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a sponsored search box passes to the third-party provider that operates the tool. New Mexico Released Inmates does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.
Messages
Email and contact submissions may be retained long enough to answer and manage the request. We do not share a message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure. Do not send Social Security numbers, full A-numbers, medical facts, victim-safety details, or identifiers that are not needed.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary server and analytics systems may record basic technical details when a page loads, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring website, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies help measure how people use the site. Browser controls can reject or remove them, though blocking cookies may cause some functions to behave differently.

Privacy Beyond This Site
Links lead to county custody systems, NMCD, New Mexico courts, VINELink, BOP, ICE, county sites, and outside search tools. The destination's own privacy policy controls after a visitor follows a link.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to track activity across websites and tailor ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not ours.

We do not sell personal information. Data may still reach limited service providers or authorities in these circumstances:
- Search partners processing a submitted query
